Musiala scored the league champion’s fourth and final goal of the game and saved the best till last.

He picked up the ball inside Wolfsburg’s half before cutting in from the right and driving towards goal.

The winger beat six players before entering the box and firing home, capping off a remarkable goal.

Incidentally, it is not Musiala’s first stunner against Wolfsburg, having scored against them last year.

The 19-year-old now has 13 goals in 26 games this season and won the praise from his manager Julian Nagelsmann.

Nagelsmann said: “Jamal played a world-class game.

“Hardworking without end, top dribbles, a world-class goal, also great defensively. An outstanding achievement for his age.”

Bayern held onto victory at the Volkswagen Arena, despite Joshua Kimmich’s sending off.

Nagelsmann said: “The win was very important for us as are the three points.

“We scored three goals from our three first chance and maybe we could have increased the lead if we were a bit more focused and concentrated.

“We lost possession too often in our own third. We made mistakes and allowed too much.

“We let Wolfsburg get back in the game. This is certainly something we must improve. After Jamal Musiala’s 4-1 things got a bit easier.”
