GFA boost clubs with logistics ahead of new season

The Ghana Football Association has intensified its support to clubs in Ghana after donating pair of football boots. The GFA announced that it is donating Puma made boots to teams in the Premier League and Division One League.

The sponsorship package is part of the Assocation’s deal with German based company Puma. Puma are the official kits sponsors of the National Teams.

According the GFA report, a total of 1980 pair of boots would be amongst the Premier and Division One Clubs.

The Premier League numbering 18 would have a total of 540 boots to shared amongst them but the 48 Division One Clubs would have a total of 1440 boots.

Also, the distribution process would be done in January 2023.

This would aid the clubs in terms of logistics as part of the GFA’s major boost for the local league.

In other news, the GFA also announced that it is undertaking borehole projects at the Prampam Soccer Centre in Greater Accra Region. This would go a long way to ease the challenging water supply to the facility.

It was revealed that a total of 63 boreholes have been constructed.
