He appeared to suffer a non-contact ankle injury during the first half and limped off with assistance from a physio.
Erik ten Hag admitted he and his team were “especially careful” with Yoro in the build-up to the match as he had only completed a few training sessions.
While he remained hopeful the injury would not be serious at the time, the French defender has since been seen using crutches.
He was also spotted wearing a protective boot at United’s UCLA training base in California.
The Red Devils are understood to be assessing the extent of the issue.
Yoro joined Man Utd in a £52million transfer from Lille earlier this month.
Upon his arrival at Old Trafford, he said: “Signing for a club with the stature and ambition of Manchester United so early in my career is an incredible honour.
“Since my first conversations with the club, they set out a clear plan for how I can develop in Manchester as part of this exciting project, and showed a lot of care for me and my family.

Rasmus Hojlund also appeared to suffer an injury during the 2-1 defeat to Arsenal.
The striker limped off with what looked to be a hamstring issue.
