The Rocket followed up his Masters win to earn the top prize in Leicester, beating Judd Trump 10-7.

There is a total prize fund of £380,000 for the 2024 World Grand Prix.

The draw for the World Grand Prix featured the top 32 players in the word, with the top seed playing the bottom.
Ronnie O’Sullivan beat Judd Trump in a thrilling final as he continues his incredible start to the year.
After scooping the trophy and the £100,000 prize, O’Sullivan said: “I enjoyed that. I really did. At the start of the week, I was feeling a bit rough.
“I bought myself an Air Fryer and a smoothie maker. I started eating a bit better and I started feeling like myself.
“Yeah, I don’t like eating junk food. He puts me in a bit of a funny place.
“I started to feel better as the week went on. Obviously played some of my best snooker ever last night against Ding. That gave me some confidence coming into today.
“I knew I would have to play well. At least do something well against Judd.
“I enjoyed the match. Judd blasted me off the table 4-0 and I was thinking, this could be an early night, like a 10-1 job.
“But I managed to nick a few frames this afternoon. At 5-3 down, it gave me a bit of optimism and I came out, I just thought, just try, see what happens.”
It is the second successive final defeat for Trump in this tournament, after losing last year to Mark Allen.
Trump said: “Ronnie cleaned up when he needed to.
“There were a couple of important frames. Important breaks he made. Important clearances. His safety was a lot better. He was getting in first and scoring a bit heavier.
“There was a lot of ups-and-downs in that second session. He scored heavier. His long potting was very good. Overall, a well-deserved win for him.”
Is the snooker World Grand Prix a ranking event?
The World Grand Prix has been on the tour since 2015 — but in its first year it wasn’t a ranking event.
However, since 2016 it has been contested as a ranking tournament.
Ranking events are those on the calendar which offer ranking points to the professional snooker players competing in them, with these points being used to determine seeding for tournaments on the World Snooker Tour and automatic qualification for the highest-ranked players at certain events.
