APFans complained about the sound quality as they watched at home[/caption]

The Applause singer took to a specially built stage on the iconic landmark, performing with gusto with a french cabaret act.

Gaga, 38, performed the track “Mon Truc en Plume”, a circus song that is well known in France.

She sported a black corset, hotpant and matching gloves, while dancers also dressed in all black surrounded her with pink and white feathers.

After moving around the golden staircase and stage, the performer – real name Stefani Germanotta – took to her famous piano.

But many watching at home were disappointed that they couldn’t hear her properly, slamming the broadcast’s audio.

Taking to X, formerly twitter, one vented: Great performance from Lady Gaga. Shame the French forgot to do a sound check beforehand.”

A second agreed: “Lady Gaga performing to no large audience in a stadium but on a platform next to the river. The sound is awful, sound just getting lost in the vast open space rather than being reverberated around a stadium.”

A third fumed: “This is rather underwhelming. Dull boats, dull background and the sound quality of Lady Gaga’s act wasn’t great.”

Meanwhile a fourth screamed: “Lady Gaga is doing her best, but the sound is dreadful. This sounds like somebody has filmed it on their phone. Why is the audio so bad?”
