Who is AFL player Connor Rozee?

Connor Robert Rozee, born on January 22, 2000 in Port Augusta, South Australia, is a Aussie rules footballer who plays as a medium forward for the Port Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).

He took part in the Auskick programme at Port Augusta and played as a junior for the Spencer Gulf Football League club in South Augusta.

After his family moved to the suburbs of Adelaide, he won the Kevin Sheehan Medal and South Australia’s Most Valuable Player Award in 2016.

Rozee made his professional AFL debut in 2019 as his Port Adelaide side beat Melbourne in an upset, and has since gone on to be an integral part of the team.

During the 2019 season became Port Adelaide’s youngest ever leading goalscorer and was named in the AFL’s 22under22 team.

The Port Adelaide superstar earned All-Australian honours for the second time this year after a phenomenal season.

Connor averaged 25 disposals and kicked 21 goals this season, landing him in the top ten for the Brownlow Medal.
