French professional footballer who plays as centre-back for West Ham, Kurt Zouma, has predicted that his club side’s clash against Chelsea this weekend would be a tug of war.

The former Blues player was hopeful that West Ham will make life unbearable for Thomas Tuchel’s side at the London Stadium on Saturday, December 4.

Naija News understands that David Moyes’ side currently sits in the 4th position with 24 points on the 2021/22 Premier League campaign table.

Chelsea on the other hand currently tops the table with 33 points.

Zouma who left Stamford Bridge to join the Hammers in a £29.8 million deal in August this year, feels it will be special for West Ham to win his former side.

The 27-year-old had spent seven years at Chelsea and made 151 appearances for the Blues before his departure.

“It will feel special in a way because I’ve been there for so many years,” Zouma said in an interview with Hammer’s journalists.

He added: “I want to beat Chelsea because I want to beat everybody. I play for West Ham now and I’m very happy to be here. It’s going to be a tough game as we know they have a lot of strength, but we have to use our strength to make them suffer.”

Meanwhile, La Liga giants, FC Barcelona are reportedly open to letting go of three first-team players to raise more funds to shop for quality players, Naija News understands.

The Spanish club is understood to be facing some financial constraints and the new manager, Xavi Hernandez, is keen on bringing in top-class footballers to help the Catalans maintain a good stand.

According to Cadena SER, Barca wants to sell the likes of Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araujo.
