Fans in a Dusseldorf park near the stadium somehow managed to sway and revel as one ahead of kick-off.
Astonished viewers labelled the performance “impeccable”.
But a few claimed the dancing had originated in a neighbouring country.
“Copy cats from Netherlands,” joked one observer.
Another posted: “They may dance like the dutch, but they still play like Belgians.”
But a third viewer write: “God forbid other teams have the same club and dancing culture with a popular move in clubs.”
Belgium are facing a strongly-tipped France side who again included masked strike legend Kylian Mbappe from the start.
And one fan said of the Belgian dancers: “We’ll see if they’ll dance like that at 8pm.”
