Watch ‘disrespectful’ moment stunning reporter is drenched by MLB star mid-interview as fans rage ‘What was that?’
MIAMI Marlins star Jazz Chisholm has been blasted on social media for drenching a reporter mid-interview.
The incident in question occurred after the Marlins’ 9-8 win against the St. Louis Cardinals on Tuesday.

The game was won via two late runs at the bottom of the tenth by Nick Gordon and Jesus Sanchez.
Afterward, Bally Sports’ Jessica Blaylock interviewed star Vidal Brujan, whose walk-off hit ultimately won the game, alongside the dugout.
As his interview was broadcast on the PA system around LoanDepot Park, Chisholm abruptly threw an entire Gatorade cooler of water over Blaylock, also striking both Brujan and his translate in the process.
“I feel like I just maybe delivered the walk-off hit,” Blaylock joked before continuing the interview.
Meanwhile, Chisholm was spotted celebrating in the dugout, flexing for the camera.
The clip quickly went viral on X, formerly known as Twitter, where fans were seemingly none too impressed.
“What in the world was that?” one user asked.
“Incredibly disrespectful. She handled it well,” said a second.
“Childish boys will do childish things,” commented another.
While a fourth added, “Doing a Gatorade bath after a regular season win is weak.”
Blaylock seemingly saw the funny side of it, however, taking to X to give her two cents on the incident.
“Hey @j_chisholm3, I wouldn’t trade these moments for anything,” she wrote.
“But you better bring me some chocolate tomorrow!!! I think I earned it!”
Quick to respond, Chisholm said, “You know I always got you!!! There’s a box waiting on you !!”
He also replied to a critical comment from a fan, explaining, “She was happy she gets it all the time.”
In fact, when speaking to Braxton Garrett following the Marlins’ 3-0 win against the Arizona Diamondbacks in May, Blaylock narrowly avoided any collateral damage as a tub of Gatorade was dumped over him.
“I know it’s freezing Brax, because I’ve been on the receiving end of it as well,” she joked.
And it seems that the recent backlash won’t prevent any such future occurrences.
After the Marlins beat the Cardinals 4-3 on Wednesday, game-winner Otto Lopez was the subject of another ice bath on the field while speaking to Blaylock.
This time, she managed to avoid the worst of it, later joking on X, “It’s a game of adjustments.”
