Evidently, team-mates Bellingham and Walker were both bemused as they cut a bewildered look.

Fans online noticed the pair looking on in confusion as Ellynora began her effort at the anthem.

One said: “Bellingham and Walker’s face when the woman was singing that anthem was brilliant.”

Another added: “Jude Bellingham’s reaction to the National Anthem being sung badly.”

One commented: “Jack Grealish and Jude Bellingham wondering if they’re in the right England team during the national anthem.”

Another said: “She absolutely butchered it.”

Despite the backlash to Ellynora’s effort, the performer appeared to brush it off as she took to social media.

She posted: “England, I hope you enjoyed my gift.”

But England fans are more likely to have remembered the result opposed to the pre-match anthem singing.
