ARSENAL fans are convinced that youngster Ethan Nwaneri should be starting for the club next season.
The young Gunner has impressed the Emirates faithful after scoring a stunner while on international duty with England’s Under-17s.

Nwaneri, who is highly rated on the red side of North London, is currently in Cyprus playing in the U17 European Championship with England.
And the rising star has looked good as part of Greg Lincoln’s Three Lions squad for the tournament scoring an incredible goal during their quarter-final clash with Italy.
Nwaneri, 17, opened the scoring in the game after 16 minutes when he picked up the ball just inside the area and curled it beautifully into the top corner.
Unfortunately for England his goal wasn’t enough to see them advance to the semi-finals as the Young Lions were knocked out by the Italians on penalties following a 1-1 draw.
But the result didn’t stop Arsenal fans watching on at home from seeing a glimpse of what Nwaneri could offer their club going forward.
On social media, one fan wrote: “Hope he gets a chance next season.”
While another added: “Nwaneri what a hit! I need to see him in the first team next season. Kid is special.”
A third commented: “He has to be integrated into the team next season.”

ARSENAL are stepping up plans to sign a world-class striker in the summer after their Champions League heartbreak.
Mikel Arteta splashed out £204.5m last summer on Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
But the Spanish manager accepts he needs a proven goalscorer to take the club to the next level.
And here are the players he is looking at to get the Gunners firing:
BENJAMIN SESKO (RB Leipzig, value £40m-£45m)
One for the future at 20 years old. Scored 16 goals for RB Salzburg in the Austrian Bundesliga last season and the Slovenian has carried on that good form in Germany with Leipzig this campaign.
VIKTOR GYOKERES (Sporting Lisbon, value £60m-£80m)
Been scouted several times this season. The Swedish striker, 25, is more of a traditional No 9 so may not suit Arsenal’s demand for flexibility but would bring a physicality that boss Mikel Arteta craves.
ALEXANDER ISAK (Newcastle, value £75m-£85m)
Impressed in his first two seasons in English football. The Swede, 24, has the pace and finesse to match his finishing ability, and Eddie Howe’s Toon may need to sell to balance the books this summer.
JOSHUA ZIRKZEE (Bologna, value £45m-£50m)
Dutch wonder is attracting the attentions of clubs across Europe. At 6ft 4in the 22-year-old forward would have no trouble adapting to the Premier League and already has an eye for goal.
XAVI SIMONS (RB Leipzig, value £70m-£80m)
An incredible talent in the Bukayo Saka mould, currently on loan from Paris Saint-Germain. The future of the Dutch attacker, 20, depends on how much money his parent club want to make from him.
And a fourth posted: “This kid is special, can’t wait to see him during preseason and next season in the next phase of his development.”
It’s the second stunner Nwaneri has scored during the youth international tournament after he did the same thing against Spain in the group stages.
Nwaneri has been on the fringe of the first team for Arsenal over the last two seasons and made the bench for their Champions League fixtures three times this term.
He also had a 13-minute cameo during the Gunners’ 6-0 hammering of West Ham in February.
Nwaneri became the Premier League’s youngest-ever player when he made his debut for Arsenal against Brentford at just 15 years and 181 days old in 2022.
The midfielder has been attracting attention from other clubs with Manchester City linked with a swoop for the starlet.
But the fire stoking those rumours was put out in March when Nwaneri put pen to paper on his first ever pro contract with Arsenal.
Speaking after penning the two-year deal he said: “It’s a proud moment for me and my family to finally be here. I’m ready to keep working.
“It was the dream to get to this stage. I’ve always thought about when this day would come and I’ve been looking forward to it.
“I didn’t have to think about it – this is my family and it feels like home here.”
