TYSON FURY’s outrageous pre-fight claim before his Saudi showdown with Francis Ngannou has come back to haunt him.
The Gypsy King locked horns with the former UFC heavyweight champion in a controversial crossover clash last Saturday.

Fury, 35, was brimming with confidence ahead of the ten-rounder, so much so that he claimed he could win the fight after sinking “25 pints”.
But he ended up being dropped in the third round and narrowly squeaked out a decision victory over the boxing novice.
Footage of Fury’s claim that he could clobber the Cameroonian clubber while under the influence began to recirculate on social media in the aftermath of the fight.
One fight fan commented: “He must of had 50 on Saturday night.”
Another said: “He must’ve drank 26.”
And another said: “[This] didn’t age well.”
One remarked: “And here lies the problem, he really believed that.”
Another chimed in: “Maybe he had 26 pints the night before.”

The stats from the fight show Fury landed more punches overall and in the majority of the rounds
One stunned view of the fight said: “[It] certainly looked like he had.”
Former UFC welterweight title challenger Darren Till shared the clip and said: “Love my man Fury but I had to post this.”
Fury – who is set to face Oleksandr Usyk in a historic undisputed title fight next – offered no excuses for legacy-damaging display in the Riyadh Rumble.
The WBC heavyweight champion said: “That definitely wasn’t in the script. Francis is a hell of a fighter.
“He’s strong, he’s a big puncher and a lot better boxer than we thought he’d ever be.”
Fury added: “He’s a very awkward man and he’s a very good puncher.
“And I respect him a lot, before the fight and after the fight.”
A proud-as-punch Ngannou said: “We can run it back again and I’m sure I’m gonna get better.
“This was my first boxing match, [it was] a great experience.
“I’m not giving any excuses, I know I came up short. But I’m gonna go back and work harder.
“And with a little bit more experience and a little more feeling for the game and come back even stronger.”
