Transfer tussle: Denart Soccer Academy set to report GlowLamp Academy to GFA over Daniel Lomoteyâs transfer fee
Lower-tier side Denart Soccer Academy is set to report former Ghana International Nii Odartey Lamptey to the Ghana Football Association Statues Committee over Daniel Lomoteys full transfer fee due them. Dennis Narterh Adzigodi, the chairman for the Soccer Academy has alleged that Nii Odartey Lamptey has failed to pay all monies due them from Daniel Lomoteys transfer move from WAFA to Algerian side ES Setif.According to Dennis, an agreement was reached between the two clubs, Denart Soccer Academy and Glowlamp Academy that the latter will be entitled to a transfer fee should their player earn a move abroad. WAFA signed Daniel Lomotey for GHC 15,000 but Nii Odartey Lamptey failed to disclose the full amount to Denart Soccer Academy stating he received GHC 5,000on the players transfer move to the Ghana Premier League side.Yeah, I said he told me that WAFA paid him only five thousand Ghana cedis (GH5, 000) for Lomotey transfer to WAFA meanwhile it was Ghc 15,000, Dennis Narterh said in an interview. Its very strange to me, that a former Ghana Black star player who once cried on Live Television that he has been cheated during his playing days , will not do the right thing by helping the upcoming teams to produce more stars like Daniel Lomotey. I have send him (Nii Odartey Lamptey ), a lot of messages he refused to reply me , but threaten that I should not use the media to destroy his image, but at the same time he is still refusing to pay me my percentage on El Setif deal, we have the player Statues committee at Ghana Football Association and at least they are the mandatory authority to determine our case Dennis added.
