Ghana striker Caleb Ekuban was named man of the match after scoring the winning goal in Trabzonspor’s Turkish Super Cup final victory against Istanbul Basaksehir.Ghana forward Caleb Ekuban has won his second trophy for Trabzonspor after his late goal secured a 2-1 win on Wednesday night.In the first half, Trabzonspor were able to stand their ground against the favourites Basaksehir at the Atatrk Olimpiyat Stadium.Jorge Djaniny opened the scoring just two minutes into the second half to put Trabzonspor ahead.Former Chelsea forward Demba Ba equalized in the 58th after burying his powerful penalty effort.With five minutes left on the clock, Ekuban scored the winning goal after racing clear of his opponents including Basaksehir goalkeeper Gunok.Ekubans goal proved to be the difference between the two sides to clinch his second major silverware with Trabzonspor.Aside from the goal, his overall performance was impressive and was rewarded with man of the match award.
