Place: Picking a horse to finish in the places in the race
Exacta: Picking the first and second place horses to finish in the correct order
Trifecta: Picking the first, second and third horses to finish in the correct order
Quinella: Picking the first two horses home, in either order
Swinger: Picking two horses to finish in the first three places in any order
Treble: Only multi-leg bet – Picking the first horse in three separate races
