Tommy Fury in talks to fight 54-year-old with boxing legend lined up to be next opponent, reveals dad John
TOMMY FURY is in talks with a boxing legend for his next fight, his dad John said.
The ex-Love Islander beat YouTube stars Jake Paul, 26, and KSI, 30, in 2023 to become king of the crossover scene.

And two weeks after his controversial win over KSI, the 23-year-old took a trip to Saudi Arabia in support of his brother Tyson.
Days before Tyson also contentiously beat ex-UFC champion Francis Ngannou, Tommy struck a deal to face American great Roy Jones Jr.
And now his dad John revealed talks with the 54-year-old icon are underway.
He told The Express, via Free Bets UK: “We’re speaking to Roy Jones Jr; we can do something with him.
“I’m giving it some thought at the time of speaking. Roy Jones Jr is a great guy. He’s a lovely fella, a standup man and a hall-of-fame great.”
John added: “Maybe it is an exhibition or something, whatever he wants to do.
“We’ve not really spoken in great detail, but he did say over in Saudi ‘Let’s do something’ and we’re all ears.
“We just need to sit down and see what is best for Tommy and Roy Jones Jr.”

Jones is considered one of the best of all time, reigning over FOUR divisions including heavyweight.
But he boxed well into his 50s and in 2020 welcomed back Mike Tyson for an exhibition.
Jones again made a return this April against MMA veteran Anthony Pettis, losing on points.
And he has also confirmed the negotiations to face Tommy, telling Betway: “There is truth to that, we spoke in Saudi Arabia because of the fact that John Fury was with Tyson ahead of his fight.
“Me and the Fury family, we have a lot of history. I was one of the people who told Tyson five or six years back that he could come back and beat all of them and that’s what he has done.
“To be in the ring with somebody from the social media era and have a big fight with Tommy Fury, I may not be who I was but to be in with against someone from the YouTube era, it’s a different type of thing and can captivate the audience. I think it’s a good thing.”
