Three men wanted over £300k burglary of Raheem Sterling’s home were arrested by cops – and then let go

THREE suspects wanted over a £300,000 raid on England star Raheem Sterling’s home were arrested by police — and then let go.

The Albanian trio were held in a raid two months after the football star’s mansion was targeted.

Kent Crime Squad, investigating 33 big-money burglaries, stormed a house in Harlow, Essex, in January.

Henri Osmani, 44, Alfred Isufi, 48, and Gerard Kalaja, 22, were arrested and held for two days, then released — only to be named six months later as suspects in the same burglaries.

These included the heist which forced Raheem to return from the World Cup in Qatar last December.

Kent Police said the trio were released as the Crown Prosecution Service had ruled there was insufficient evidence to charge them.

They were freed on conditional bail although it was unclear whether their passports were confiscated.

Osmani returned to Albania on July 18.

His two alleged accomplices are believed to be elsewhere in Europe.

One of their dads told The Sun: “They ended up spending two days in custody then were allowed to go free — but now police say they are wanted men. It’s ridiculous.”

Albanian Emiliano Krosi, 23, of Southend, has already been charged with conspiracy to commit the 33 burglaries.
