Nigerians are currently reacting to the transfer move of a Nigerian striker, Silas Nwankwo to Swedish side Mjallby AIF from Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) outfit Nassarawa United.
Nwankwo who claims to be 18-year-old signed a contract with Allsvenskan side which will come to an end in 2025
The 18-year-old forward finished as the joint-Top scorer in the 2020/21 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
He has recorded 19 goals with eight assists along with Charles Atshimene of Akwa United as they shared the award.
Despite his many aways and his reputation as a top notch player Nigerians have questioned the footballers real age and have stated that he is way older than 18.
In other news, Egypt head coach, Carlos Queiroz, has reacted to the Thursday night African Cup of Nations semi-final victory against the host nation, Cameroon.
In his post-match talks, Queiroz alleged that the match referee, Bakary Gassama had entered into Egypt dressing room to intimidate his staff ahead of the match.
