As he gave his opinions on Liverpool’s 5-2 thumping at the hands of Real Madrid, many couldn’t help but notice his impressive guns.

Suave Richards, 34, wore a dark blazer and glasses.

Commenting on the dapper pundit, one fan tweeted: “Micah Richards’ arms are bigger than my thighs ffs.”

A second joked: “If Micah Richards flexes his biceps he’s gonna rip the arms on his shirt on live TV.”

A third explicitly added: “F***ing hell Micah Richards’ arms.”

Richards recently left fellow pundit Thierry Henry stunned, when he admitted he goes for three £200 haircuts a week.

Referencing these salon trips, another fan added: “Does Micah Richards look more Buff every week??? #MOTD hopefully his gym membership is cheaper than his barber visits though.”

After the match, Richards talked about Liverpool’s need to adapt.

He said: “If Liverpool are going to play the same way, you talk about ‘it’s the end of an era’.

“If you go 2-0 up in a game, surely sometimes you have to change your principles in order to win the game.

“When I see Liverpool, they go 2-0 up, it gets to 2-2 – they’re still doing the same things.”

Richards also revealed he was “roasted” in the gym recently for his opinion on Harry Kane.

He recently claimed the Tottenham and England great was not as good as Alan Shearer or Wayne Rooney because of his lack of trophies.

On what happened next, he said: “Basically, we’re going to a place in town called Jab, it’s a boxing place, I’ve got my vest on, I’m feeling great. I’m feeling a million dollars.

“The guy’s about 5ft 10in – 5ft 11in, and I just see someone out of the corner of my eye, looking at me and waiting. We’re going down the stairs, I’m in the mode, left to right I’m jogging on the spot.

“Then before I go down the stairs he goes ‘What are you talking about Harry Kane for?’

“I was like, ‘what me? What have I said about Harry Kane?’

“‘Well everyone’s going to remember Harry Kane, no one’s going to remember your one Premier League title’.”

His story was met by rapturous laughter from fellow analysts Henry and Jamie Carragher.
