SPORTS fans are more likely to get lucky after their side wins, researchers have found.
Intense emotions prompted by watching a “notable” victory has a knock-on effect on sex drive.

Birth rates shoot up nine months after big football and rugby tournaments such as World Cups, the Euros, Champions League and rugby’s Six Nations — especially among fans living in the host nation.
A University College Dublin team identified the link after analysing ten studies.
One found Solsones in Spain, had a 16 per cent boost in births after Barcelona won the Champions League in 2009.
They won the final after beating Manchester United 2-0.
They also discovered “unexpected losses” were associated with a births decline.
Dr Gwinyai Masukume said: “Increased birth rates nine months afterwards are possibly due to celebratory sex.
“This suggests euphoria or sadness experienced when a sports team wins or loses coincides with a hormonal change that increases or decreases a desire for sex.
“Human emotions can have a significant impact on population.”
