Snooker star who went viral for ‘getting murdered’ now battling for World Championship quarter-final spot
SNOOKER fans are in hysterics after a video resurfaced of John Higgins online while he stars at the World Snooker Championship.
Viewers were joking that he had been “murdered” five years ago after the viral clip showed him in an unusual position during a match.

The snooker star was filmed while sitting and appeared to be asleep as he was leaning back over his chair.
The moment was captured as he faced Neil Robertson during the 2019 World Snooker Championship at the Crucible.
The humorous video has re-emerged on social media during Higgins’ clash with Mark Allen.
And fans have been quick to comment on the moment.
One joked: “Remarkable that John Higgins is still in the World Snooker Championship after he was murdered five years ago.”
A second posted: “Weekend at Higgys.”

The Scotsman did admit after the game against Robertson that he was not actually asleep.
He insisted that he was watching a reply on a screen above him.
He said: “I was checking the angle of the shot on the screen above.”
Higgins is currently 9-7 down to Allen in round two of the competition.
