SKY SPORTS had to apologise as live T20 World Cup cricket coverage was interrupted by a weird glitch.
Viewers fumed as the unwanted intervention came as Scotland hunted victory against Namibia – on the day the USA beat Pakistan in arguably the sport’s biggest ever shock.

Cricket fans were baffled as multi-coloured stripes referencing rival broadcaster CHANNEL 4 came on the screen.
Sky responded with a full-screen message that said: “We’re really sorry for this temporary fault.”
One viewer claimed: “This happens regularly on sky sports and at frustrating moments. Can I just be sorry next time I am not able to pay?”
Another posted: “Not really sure why I pay for @SkyUK sometimes.”
When coverage resumed, viewers saw Scotland’s Brandon McMullen dismissed for a misjudgement as bizarre as Sky’s interruption.
After a missed stumping, he failed to get his foot back in the crease – enabling the wicketkeeper to run him out.
The T20 World Cup, being held in the USA and West Indies, has had a remarkable start.
And that’s largely down to the joint hosts.

The US toppled cricket giants Pakistan in a super over that summed up an astonishing contest.
The Test-playing big boys looked set to nick a close win with one ball left of the regulation 20 over-a-side contest.
But US star Nitish Kumar walloped it for four – meaning a tie as both sides finished one 159-7.
Pakistan then fell apart in the super-over decider, with Mohammad Amir bowling three wides.
The US went on to make 18-1 – before Pakistan fell six short of victory.
