Sky Sports forced to apologise after fan’s X-rated comment to ex-Arsenal stopper Bernd Leno in Spurs’ win over Fulham
FANS have been left in hysterics after Sky Sports microphones picked up a supporter’s X-rated comment about Bernd Leno.
The remarks were heard by viewers watching Tottenham beat Fulham 2-0.
Bernd Leno was the subject of an unusual comment from a fanRex
Goals from Son Heung-min and James Maddison moved Spurs top of the league – but it was comments about a bottom that got fans talking.
During the match, while the ball was in Leno’s grasp, a shout from the crowd seemed to complement the ex-Arsenal goalkeeper’s backside.
It left many in shock and plenty laughed on social media.
One said: “Did I just hear some bloke say ‘nice a**e Leno’ on Sky Sports.”
Another added: “Just heard someone say Bernd Leno has a nice a**e on a national broadcast.”
A third reacted: “Someone just belted out, ‘nice a**e Leno.’ Crystal clear into the Sky mics.”
The commentators were forced to apologise for the rude language heard.
And it turned out to be Sky Sports’ first apology of the night as they had to say sorry to Maddison during his post-match interview as he suffered an issue with his headphones.

The midfielder complained he could hear the reaction of Fulham boss Marco Silva instead of questions from the studio.
Jamie Carragher reacted: “What’s he saying?”
And the witty ex-Leicester star hilariously responded: “He was saying Maddison’s goal was excellent I think.”
