Sir Jim Ratcliffe set to keep sponsoring Man Utd’s Premier League rivals after completing 25% takeover at Old Trafford
INEOS are set to continue sponsoring Tottenham despite owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe buying 25 per cent of Manchester United.
The 70-year-old initially wanted to purchase the entire club but has since revised his bid and is ready to go into business alongside the Glazers.

This comes after his rival Sheikh Jassim pulled out of the running to buy the Red Devils.
Ratcliffe’s petrochemicals company INEOS is already involved in the Premier League as they sponsor Spurs.
Branding of the firm’s car named the Grenadier 4×4 is seen prominently around the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Logos can even be spotted on the headrests in the dugout.
Meanwhile, Spurs players have featured in corporate videos that promote the vehicle.
The Telegraph report that there are no signs the agreement between INEOS and Tottenham chief Daniel Levy is set to end despite Ratcliffe closing in on part-owning Man Utd.
The British billionaire’s company has had a relationship with Spurs since December 2020 when their Hygienics branch were surprisingly announced as the club’s official hand sanitiser supplier during the pandemic.
INEOS’ deal with Ange Postecoglou‘s team is a relatively small investment compared to the rest of their extensive sports portfolio.

The company have invested in Formula One, cycling, rugby and sailing.
Ratcliffe additionally owns a third of the Mercedes F1 team as well as French football club Nice and Swiss side Laussane.
