Shakira goes on daring wakeboarding trip with her and Pique’s kids amid close friendship with Lewis Hamilton

SHAKIRA wasn’t scared of making a splash as she headed on a daring wakeboarding trip with her two young sons.

The mum, 46, made waves as she hit the water near her plush Miami mansion on Tuesday while being towed by a speedboat.

She took her boys Milan 9, and Sasha, 7, who she shares with former partner and Barcelona ace Gerard Pique, along for the ride.

The trio were pictured being aided by instructors as they climbed onto the boat to enjoy the watersport.

Shakira opted for a pair of black shorts and a gray long-sleeve top for the activity, while her children followed suit.

She let her enviable curls blow free as she showed off her impressive wakeboarding skills while her sons watched on adoringly.

The She Wolf singer seemed to expertly navigate the water while wearing a purple rash guard and blue O’Neill life jacket for safety.

She wailed her arms in the air, steadily bending her knees to keep her balance on the board, as she was pulled around by the vessel.

Milan and Sasha were pictured lounging on the back of the boat as they marvelled at their mum’s wakeboarding prowess.

The images looked eerily similar to ones snapped back in May – when Shakira climbed aboard an open-top cruiser with Lewis Hamilton.

The F1 legend showed off his chivalry when he whisked the Colombian songstress off for a boat day with pals, by picking her up from the back of her £12million pad.

He made sure Shakira didn’t have too far to walk as she trotted down her private dock in a lilac ensemble.

Rumours of a romance between the two stars have been rife in recent weeks after they were spotted on several outings.

Fans were left convinced Shakira had littered her new crisp advert with Sabritas with cryptic clues about their relationship.

It has even been claimed that she is due to jet off for a “romantic holiday” in the Caribbean with her reported new beau Lewis.

Insiders alleged the pair hit it off after being introduced by Lewis’ F1 rival Ferrari track ace Carlos Sainz, who is pals with them both.

The superstars are said to be keeping things “fun and flirty” for now as they navigate their rumoured new relationship.

In one snap of them enjoying dinner with pals in Barcelona, Lewis slinked his arm around the singer as they sipped on cocktails at a sushi restaurant following his performance at the Spanish Grand Prix.

Shakira made no secret of her presence on the sidelines and was pictured beaming as she cheered on her rumoured beau as he roared around the track in early June.

She proudly watched him scoop second place after Max Verstappen triumphed at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.

The singer has been spotted on repeated rendezvous with the Mercedes driver since they were seen enjoying dinner together at the lavish Miami restaurant Cipriani in May.

PIQUE’S ‘BETRAYAL’

Rumours have even surfaced that the alleged couple were locked in a “love triangle” with Hollywood megastar Tom Cruise.

That could potentially put Sir Lewis and Cruise’s 10-year bromance in jeopardy.

The Mission Impossible star, 60, was said to have been “absolutely mesmerised” by Shakira when they met at the Miami Grand Prix.

Sources claimed that Tom was “giddy” after the chat while adding that the interactions were similar to “how he acted” when he first got with his ex-wife Katie Holmes.

An insider told Page Six that there was “chemistry” between the pair – with Tom sending her flowers after the meeting.

But Shakira reportedly shot down his advances and instead begged the actor to leave her alone and stop flirting with her.

It comes after the popstar told of her heartbreak after learning of Pique’s “betrayal” while her dad was fighting for life in hospital.

She recalled how she was left devastated by the double blow as she couldn’t turn to her beloved father William Mebarak Chadid, 91, “for the advice she needed so much.”

She announced her separation from former Barcelona star Pique in June last year amid rumours he had been caught playing away.

Shakira, 46, reportedly worked out he was cheating after finding an empty jam jar in their fridge – a condiment she and her children do not eat.

The evidence is said to have brought her to the conclusion that Pique had clearly had a secret guest over without her knowledge.

HEARTBREAK

Other reports claimed she had recruited a team of private detectives to snoop on the footie ace in the hopes of confirming her suspicions.

Shakira told People en Español that she was first enlightened to her ex’s alleged infidelity shortly after William was “gravely injured.”

The mum-of-two said: “He went to Barcelona to console me after I was consumed with sadness because of my separation.

“While he was at Milan’s first communion, he was gravely injured in an accident. Everything happened at once. My home was falling apart.

“I was finding out through the press that I had been betrayed while my dad was in the ICU.”

She recalled thinking that she “wasn’t going to survive” the turmoil life had thrown at her without her beloved father by her side.

But throughout his “hard and slow” recovery from the incident, Shakira revealed he has been her source of strength in wake of the messy feud with Pique.

“My dad is the biggest example of resilience, and my mother has been by his side day and night,” she added.

She reportedly delayed her move to Miami due to her dad’s poor health, despite being desperate to flee for a fresh start.

Shakira also revealed that she was “very excited” to wow the world again with her new music in her latest interview.

The A-lister said penning songs has helped her “untangle” the web of emotions she has been overcome by over the last year.

Lewis is believed to have lifted her spirits following her public break up from Pique.
