Shakira casts nanny ‘FIRED by ex Pique for revealing his cheating’ to star in music vid for new diss track The Boss

HIPS Don’t Lie singer Shakira has delivered another brutal blow to her ex Gerard Piqué, suggesting tensions between them are far from resolved.

The Colombian superstar, 46, featured the nanny her Spanish footballer ex allegedly fired without pay in her latest music video.

The clip was filmed in Miami for Shakira and Mexican band Fuerza Régida’s new song about a small-town man with dreams of becoming a “boss with potential” called El Jefe, or The Boss.

Toward the end of the video, Shakira sings: “This song is for you, since you weren’t paid severance/Another fart, as always.”

Shakira and Piqué’s former nanny Lili Melgar then makes a shock appearance and stares directly into the camera, her eyebrows furrowed as though she is disapproving.

It would seem the lyrics and clip of Melgar, longtime nanny of the pair’s children Milan and Sasha, were in reference to the claim Piqué dismissed Melgar without compensation for telling Shakira about his alleged infidelity.

The name of the song is an apparent nod to the alleged nickname Shakira was given by Pique’s pals who claimed she did not hang out with them.

The clip is just the latest in a series of swipes the popstar has taken at her ex, including another music video she released in June.

In the video for her song Copa Vacia, Shakira transforms into a mermaid which she said represents her being on “the journey to becoming one with herself again”.

She noted the mermaid “sacrifices a lot for love, ending up in the rubbish amongst rats”.

Shakira and Barcelona-based Piqué confirmed their 11-year relationship was over last year amid cheating rumours.

Piqué, who made his debut for Manchester United in October 2004, has insisted there was “no infidelity on his part”.

The ex-footballer is now dating model Clara Chia Marti.

Spanish broadcaster José Antonio Avilés claimed Shakira and Piqué were in a mutually-accepted open relationship for three years before they separated, reported El Nacional de Catalunya.

He said: “There is an agreement where ‘you do what you want and I do what I want, but in the face of the media we are still a couple’.”

Piqué reportedly “does not want speculation that the reason for the breakup was infidelity”.

Shakira announced their split on Instagram last year with a statement that read: “We regret to confirm that we are parting ways.

“For the wellbeing of our children, who are our highest priority, we ask that you respect their privacy. Thank you for your understanding.”

Spanish media reported the famous couple had been living separately for weeks by then, the popstar allegedly kicking Piqué out of their family home.

Journalist Emilio Pérez reported at the time: “[Shakira] has made the decision to separate. That is so. It has happened.

“That is why there is distance. Perhaps there is nothing left, but that [infidelity] has passed.”

Neither party has addressed the allegations directly, with the closest thing to acknowledgement a statement from Shakira to Elle Magazine: “I’ve remained quiet and just tried to process it all.

“Um, and yeah, it’s hard to talk about it, especially because I’m still going through it, and because I’m in the public eye and because our separation is not like a regular separation.

“And so it’s been tough not only for me, but also for my kids. Incredibly difficult.”

Shakira was awarded full custody of their two children and moved with them to Miami, where some of her family members are based.

The singer is now reportedly seeing Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton.
