Sex fanatics plot bid to make bonking an official sport by hosting international tournament
SEX fanatics are making a saucy bid to get romping recognised as an official sport — by hosting an Olympics-style tournament.
Athletes will take part in a battle of stamina for up to six hours a day over 16 disciplines.
The Swedish Sex Federation hopes a six-week contest will see sex become an official sport
They will be judged by five experts who will award points based on communication, endurance, chemistry and sex education.
The contenders’ monitored heart rates and blood pressure will also be considered — and there will be a public vote among those watching a livestream.
Adult actress Barbie Sins, 31, from London, is set to represent Britain in the international sexathon taking place in Gothenburg, Sweden.
She will compete against 19 others representing Romania, Greece, Finland, Spain, Croatia, Portugal, Italy, France, Slovenia and Ukraine for the top gong.
Contestants will need to earn enough points to pro- gress through three levels and avoid being sent home — like in ITV’s Love Island.
Organisers, the Swedish Sex Federation, hope the six-week contest, which starts on Thursday, will see sex become an official sport.
Swedes are renowned for openness towards romps.
Earlier this year, Sun columnist Ulrika Jonsson said Swedes have “a more natural approach to sex”.
