Real Madrid transfer news odds: Bookies reveal most likely signings, Kane and Ronaldo favourites to replace Benzema

REAL MADRID will need to open the chequebook this summer with Karim Benzema leaving after 14 years at the Santiago Bernabeu.

And bookmakers Betfair think they’ll splash the cash to replace their iconic centre-forward with Harry Kane, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe among the most likely additions.

Mason Mount is Liverpool’s most likely midfield signing, according to BetfairGETTY

Benzema, 35, has received a lucrative offer from Saudi Arabia and Real Madrid have not stood in his way, despite having renewed his contract until June 2024 earlier this year.

The Frenchman joined Real Madrid from Lyon for an initial £30million in 2009 and is Madrid’s second top scorer of all-time with 353 goals in 647 games — trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo.

With Benzema departing, the title lost to arch-rivals Barcelona and a Champions League semi-final exit – Real Madrid are out to bolster their ranks.

Reports suggest Borussia Dortmund superstar Jude Bellingham has agreed a six-year deal to join Real Madrid, with only the final transfer fee to resolve.

But who else is heading to Spain?

Tottenham hero Harry Kane is the most likely attacking addition at 2/1 and could be considered the ideal like-for-like replacement for Benzema.

Kane has scored 280 goals in 435 appearances for Spurs and is 47 goals shy of Alan Shearer’s Premier League goalscoring record of 260.

But it remains to be seen whether Kane would prefer to stay in the English top flight to clinch the record outright.

Cristiano Ronaldo is next in the market at 10/3 to make a sensational return.

The 38-year-old scored 450 goals and provided 131 assists in 438 appearances during his nine-season stay, winning two league titles and the Champions League four times.

However, the Portuguese has recently insisted that he’s planning on staying in Saudi Arabia with Al-Nassr.

It’s a similar story for Kylian Mbappe (5/1), who has confirmed that he will stay at Paris Saint-Germain this summer.

Napoli’s Khvicha Kvaratskhelia is also available at 5/1, but hopes are high after his agent revealed that he was a Real supporter.

Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic and Napoli icon Victor Osimhen are locked together at 7/1, ahead of 8/1 Neymar.
