VINICIUS JUNIOR is set to be offered the biggest contract in sporting history by Saudi Arabia, according to reports.

The Real Madrid star scored 24 goals and assisted 11 in 39 games last season, helping his side lift the LaLiga and Champions League trophies.

He is the favourite to win the Ballon d’Or and part of one of the most formidable forward lines in recent history alongside Jude Bellingham and new signing Kylian Mbappe.

But according to ESPN, Saudi are preparing to throw money at Vinicius, 24, in an attempt to rip him away from the Bernabeu.

The figures are mind-boggling – nearly £300million per year, £25m per month, £800,000 per day and almost £10 per SECOND.

Other stipulations are also included in the deal – which would run until 2029.

Vinicius, who has three years left on his Real Madrid contract, would become an ambassador for Saudi Arabia’s 2034 World Cup bid should he accept the deal.

Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, who own 75 per cent of Al Ahli, Al Ittihad, Al Hilal and Al Nassr, have discussed the transfer with Real Madrid, but the Spanish giants do not want him to leave.

Real would also demand his £850m release clause.

A formal offer has not yet been submitted, but Vinicius is yet to dismiss the idea.

The Brazilian joined Real Madrid from Flamengo in 2018 in a deal worth around £40m.

He has played 264 games for Los Blancos, scoring 83 goals and providing a further 75 assists.

Vinicius quashed speculation over his future back in February after the imminent arrival of Mbappe sparked rumours about his potential departure.

He said: “I’m always happy to be a Real Madrid player, very happy.

“I hope the president lets me play here for a very long time because I love this club.”
