Overall he netted 22 times, also adding two assists.

He arrived in England with Tottenham in 2005 from Roma on an initial loan move, before the move was made permanent the year after.

However, he failed to build on the 11 goals he scored in his first season, scoring just one league goal in his second season with Spurs.

He shared a picture of himself in a striking t-shirt alongside the caption: “Happy birthday mum .”

Mido was previously seen posing topless on a yacht, while he also recently revealed why his legendary Soccer AM crossbar challenge went so poorly.
