In-form Manchester City welcome Nottingham Forest to the Etihad Stadium for Saturday’s Premier League showdown.

Manchester City vs Nottingham Forest preview
Nottingham Forest have done exceptionally well in their opening three away matches of the season. They followed a narrow 2-1 defeat at Arsenal with a painful 3-2 loss at Old Trafford despite going 2-0 up inside four minutes.
They finally got their reward when beating Chelsea 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, and Steve Cooper will be eyeing a massive shock when they visit the Etihad on Saturday afternoon.
And they don’t have to look very far for inspiration having pulled off a 1-1 draw against the champions on home turf last season.
However, Pep Guardiola’s side won the reverse fixture 6-0 with Erling Haaland banging in a hat-trick inside 38 minutes. The Norwegian is already in fine form again this season having netted seven in seven, including a hat-trick against Fulham at home a few weeks ago.
The hosts appear likely to wrap up maximum points, but it wouldn’t be too much of a surprise to see Forest on the scoresheet with City having managed just one clean sheet in their last five.
Arsenal vs Tottenham preview
It’s the big one! Arsenal welcome arch-rivals Tottenham to the Emirates in the most early-anticipated north London derby for years.
Both sides are full of confidence after an impressive start to the season. The Gunners haven’t been at their scintillating best, but they’ve still managed to collect four wins.
It’s a similar story for Tottenham, who are level on points with their neighbours but sit in second position by virtue of goal difference.
Only Manchester City have scored more league goals than Tottenham, who have found the net on 13 occasions without iconic talisman Harry Kane.
Ange Postecoglou’s revolution is picking up speed, but Saturday’s scare against promoted Sheffield United proved they still have some way to go to challenge for major honours.
But no European commitments and their exit from the Carabao Cup should have Tottenham fresher for the occasion, especially given Arsenal’s Champions League clash against PSV on Wednesday.
It’s difficult to ignore home advantage. The home side has won this clash in SEVEN of the last EIGHT meetings, with Arsenal bucking the trend back in January with their 2-0 win.
