PEP GUARDIOLA gave Phil Foden an on-field coaching session – AFTER Manchester City’s win.

Goals from Jeremy Doku and Matheus Nunes helped City into the next round of the Carabao Cup against Watford.

Tom Ince grabbed a late consolation to give the Premier League champion’s a scare but they held onto victory.

Foden was tasked with leading the line for City and he was involved in an animated conversation after the final whistle with Guardiola.

The Etihad boss could be seen pointing directions and instructions to Foden while putting his arm over the England international.

It is not the first time the Spaniard has done so having given Erling Haaland an earful last season before half-time at Burnley.
