Neah Evans is still competing in the velodrome for the Women’s Omnium, but is unfortunately unable to fight her way into contention for a medal.
That means the Brits will end seventh in the standings, tallying their lowest return of golds in 20 years.
While their total of 65 is the same number they achieved at London 2012 and just one more than the 64 they earned in Tokyo.
But Britain’s athletes still did the country proud, pulling off some memorable medal moments throughout the two weeks.
China walk away as the top team in Paris with a whopping 40 gold medals to their name and a total of 91 podium finishes.
While Team USA finished second in the standings and Japan managed third place.
Britain’s 14 gold medals came across 11 different sports with Rowing being our most successful event.
First place finishes in the Lightweight Women’s Double Sculls, the Women’s Quadruple Sculls and the Men’s Eight event added three golf medals to the tally.
