Olympic silver medallist Amber Rutter has bag stolen on train… just months after new mum was ROBBED of gold medal
TEAM GB Olympian Amber Rutter has issued an appeal on social media after having her bag stolen on a train.
The 27-year-old, who won silver in skeet at the Paris Olympics this summer, shared the devastating news on social media this afternoon.

She wrote on Instagram: “Just had all my belongings stolen on my train back from Manchester Piccadilly to Reading..
“Including my Cartridge necklace that was given to me from my grandad when I was 12 years old and only took off as I broke the chain last night.
“I’m truly devastated.
“If anyone is able to help in any way I would be truly grateful.”
Rutter shot to fame in Paris this year after coming second in the Olympic women’s skeet event.
She lost out on the gold in controversial circumstances to Chile’s Francisca Crovetto following a tiebreaker.
The sport shooter was judged to have missed one of two shots but insisted that she had not.
Replays showed she had clipped the skeet but Olympic rules did not allow decisions to be overturned.

Rutter became the first British woman to win an Olympic medal in skeet, having been denied the chance to compete in Tokyo over a positive coronavirus test.
She achieved the feat just four months after giving birth to her first child.
