Paul Cook’s side led for for over 80 minutes, before former Tottenham ace John Bostock dramatically levelled for Notts County.

Armando Dobra restored Chesterfield’s lead just three minutes into extra time, only for County to once again hit back, this time via Ruben Rodrigues on 108 minutes.

Bostock then had the chance to send Notts County back into the EFL… only to Panenka the ball onto the crossbar.

Chesterfield subsequently levelled for 3-3 in the shoot-out, but Scott was able to send Notts County up at the second attempt – prompting wild scenes.
