NICKY HENDERSON has welcomed a small army of new horses from rival trainers to his Seven Barrows base – including one ‘in the same category as Ballyburn’.
The legendary boss, 73, has a load of big guns including Constitution Hill, Jonbon and Sir Gino set to sparkle this season.

And one in particular for a famous owner stands out, especially as he is said to be in the same league as Ballyburn and Simonsig.
Top owner Ronnie Bartlett knows what it takes to win at the Cheltenham Festival.
Ballyburn is arguably the most exciting horse in training and mocked rivals when winning the Gallagher Novices’ Hurdle by 13 lengths last March.
While Simonsig won the same race in 2012 before going onto claim the Arkle the following year.
Henderson says Bartlett has been purring over the potential of six-year-old gelding Incisive, who won his sole point-to-point in Scotland.
Hendo told the Racing Post: “He’s owned by the one and only Ronnie Bartlett, who assures us he’s in the same category as Simonsig and Ballyburn, so we’ll do our best to keep him unbeaten.
“He won his only point-to-point in Scotland this spring.”
He looks the headline act among the glut of new arrivals.
Adonis-winning hurdler Nusret has come over from Joseph O’Brien while the hugely promising Bo Zenith is now with Henderson too having left Gary Moore.
The Olly Harris-owned runner is two from four in his career and was last seen beaten a short head in the Grade 1 Juvenile hurdle race at Aintree’s Grand National meeting.
Stable Tours
Fergal O’Brien has waved goodbye to Go To War and Punctuation – while an intriguing new recruit from Andrew Balding enters the fray as well.
Mina Rashid won a Chester maiden over a mile and a half in May.
The three-year-old gelding is said to be ‘really quirky’ – and was well beaten in the German Derby behind Palladium, the most expensive jumps horse ever who has also joined Henderson.
