New RTU midfielder Yakubu Labando ready to take Division One league by storm

Ghanaian attacking midfielder Yakubu Labando has pledged to give his best to former Premier League campaigners Real Tamale United ahead of their opening game against Kintampo FC in the Division One.The young attacking midfielder joined the Northern giants from lower tier side Gbewaa FC following some scintillating performances in the Division and in the Normalization Committee Cup.Labando, who began his career in Madina with Kalisto SC, was a member of coach Karim Zitos U-20 team before their departure to Benin for the just ended WAFU U-20 Cup of Nations.Ahead of his debut for RTU, the attacking midfield maestro promises to help the club back to the top flight.The league has started but we will be playing our first game against Kintampo this weekend, he said. I am looking forward to a good season with RTU and hopefully help them back to the Ghana Premier League, he added.Labando continued:I want to create goals, something I do a lot and probably score too if the opportunities come my way.Its going to be a long campaign but I am very ready to take the league by storm.
