Black Stars Coach, Otto Addo has released his list of players for a double header friendly in later September.

Otto Addo has now given the green light for his new players who recently switched nationalities to play for Ghana to have their debut.

Spain based Inaki Williams, Tariq Lamptey of Brighton and Hove Albion lead the list of new entrants. Southampton’s Mohammed Salisu also enters the list ahead of his maiden game for the Black Stars.

Elish Owusu who plays for Gent has also been invited for the first time as well as Hamburg’s Ransford Yeboah. Antoine Semenyo of Bristol City in England would also feature for the first time.

Ghana has been lined up to play against Brazil and Nicaragua in two friendlies in the last week of September. They face Brazil on September 23 in France and then later play Nicaragua in Spain on 27th September.

These matches are to help Otto Addo reshape his team ahead of the FIFA Worls Cup in Qatar. The International tournament is due to begin in November 2022 and end in December.

This would be Ghana’s fourth appearance at the FIFA Mundial. They qualified in 2006, 2010 and 2014 before missing out at the 2018 edition.
