Man Utd star Casemiro could still be banned for Carabao Cup final after being sent off for neck grab vs Crystal Palace
MANCHESTER UNITED star Casemiro could potentially miss the Carabao Cup final after being sent-off for rucking with Will Hughes.
The Brazilian was given his marching orders by referee Andre Marriner after a VAR check showed him grabbing the Crystal Palace midfielder by his neck.

The result of the red card will see Casemiro miss United’s next three domestic games.
They face Leeds United both home and away this week before a home clash with Leicester City.
He will be free to play in their upcoming Europa League play-off with Barcelona, which is sandwiched between the showdown with the Foxes, but their next domestic match will be at Wembley.
United face Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday 26 February.
However, he may be forced to MISS IT should the club decide to appeal his red card.
Boss Erik ten Hag has confirmed that the Red Devils are considering taking that action.
But, if the FA disciplinary panel reject the appeal and deem it to be “frivolous” then the 30-year-old would get an extra game added to his suspension.
And that would therefore rule him out of the Wembley showpiece.

That course of action does seem unlikely, however, it will at least make Ten Hag and Old Trafford chiefs think twice before launching an appeal.
After the game, manager Ten Hag slammed Marriner for his lack of inconsistency in the match as he did not show Jordan Ayew a red card for a similar offence.
He said: “The player from Crystal Palace takes a big risk by this foul – that he get badly injured – by pushing him over the line.
“Everyone is reacting, Crystal Palace players and Man United players, and not only Casemiro.
“There was one of the players, he did even worse than Casemiro. You have to be consistent.”
The red card did make the game harder for United as their two-goal lead was halved but they clung on to a 2-1 win.
