Man Utd set to offer wonderkid midfielder bumper new contract to ward off transfer interest from LaLiga giants
MANCHESTER UNITED are set to offer midfielder Hannibal Mejbri a new contract to fight off rival interest from Sevilla, a report claims.
The 20-year-old has impressed Erik ten Hag this term and the boss is ready to extend the wonderkid’s stay at Old Trafford.

Mejbri returned to Man Utd in the summer from Birmingham City and has taken advantage of both Jadon Sancho and Antony being unavailable.
His hard work has paid off as Ten Hag’s side are lined up to offer a bumper new contract, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
But La Liga giants Sevilla have been tipped off to have interest in the Tunisian international.
Romano tweeted: “Manchester United plan to offer Hannibal new contract as talks could start soon #MUFC Current deal expires June 2024 + option 2025.
“Hannibal focused on games now, open to discuss later this year. Understand Sevilla wanted him in July and keep tracking him.”
Sevilla has had a tricky start to the season winning two out of their first six La Liga games – lying 12th in the table swooping in only nine points.
But Mejbri could be the man to change that if the Spanish side chooses to fight for him in the January transfer window.
The Man Utd starlet has been impressive this season which explains why the Dutch boss is desperate to renew his contract before anyone can snatch him.

Sky Sports revealed he covered 12.9 kilometres during the 1-0 win over Burnley, more than any Man Utd player since Ten Hag took over at the beginning of last season.
The midfielder also boasts the most pressure per 90 minutes of any Premier League player this season.
He is averaging a sensational 100 pressures, 21.3 more than the next best in Rasmus Hojlund.
Hannibal spent last season on loan at Birmingham where he played 41 times, scoring one goal and assisting another six.
Mejbri has made three appearances so far this season for United scoring the only goal in the Red Devils’ 3-1 defeat to Brighton.
The Tunisia international has also continued to be a regular for his country too, and featured at last year’s World Cup in Qatar.
