Leicester and Chelsea will be squaring off today at 12.45pm to decide the third semi finalist, before Northwest Derby rivals Man Utd and Liverpool clash at 3.30pm.

Ahead of today’s clashes, we simulated the semi-final draw.

And it was great news for Man Utd or Liverpool who have been drawn against Mark Robins’ Coventry in what on paper is the easiest possible tie.

It means one of Chelsea or Leicester will take on holders Man City in the other semi-final at Wembley.

But to decide which Northwest side is in the hat for today’s draw we first have the huge clash at Old Trafford.

It will be the 15th meeting between Man Utd and Liverpool in FA Cup history.

And there will need to be a result today, with no replays being played at this stage of the competition since 2016/17.

The last time the two sides met in the FA Cup was decided by a Bruno Fernandes free-kick at Old Trafford in a 3-2 win in 2021.

In fact, the Red Devils have not lost to Liverpool at Old Trafford in the competition since an FA Cup 1st round replay 1921 in which resulted in a 2-1 victory for the Reds.

Man Utd have won the competition 12 times to Liverpool’s eight.

The semi-final draw is set to take place 15 minutes after the end of the match.

It will be free to watch on ITV 1 or or to stream on ITV X.

SunSport will have coverage of the entire draw through our live blog.
