Now they are set to take on another LaLiga side in the form of six-time winners Sevilla.

The Andalusian club have won the competition twice as much as any other team.

But they are in the middle of a nightmare campaign in which they are in danger of dropping down to the second tier of Spanish football.

Sevilla have not been relegated from LaLiga in 23 years.

However, they sit just two points above the relegation zone with 12 games remaining.

They have also appointed their third manager of the season – Jose Luis Mendilibar – after Jorge Sampaoli was dismissed earlier this week.

The Argentine, 63, lasted less than six months in the role after taking over from Julen Lopetegui.

And according to Cope, he is set to receive £10million in compensation.
