Man Utd ‘give all non-playing staff just ONE WEEK to decide whether to resign’ as Sir Jim Ratcliffe wields axe

MANCHESTER UNITED have reportedly given all their non-playing staff just one week to decide if they want to resign from their jobs.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Ineos are looking to cut costs after completing their £1.3billion minority takeover at Old Trafford.

The Brit is in total control of football operations after purchasing a 27.7 per cent stake in the club.

And he is looking to trim the fat as United seek to comply with FFP.

But despite looking at a major squad shake-up this summer, Ratcliffe is also taking his brutal approach to those behind the scenes.

According to the Athletic, a mass email has been fired out to all staff members, bar coaches and scouts, insisting they make a decision on their futures within the next week.

United have described it as “voluntary resignation”, but those affected see it more as voluntary redundancy.
