Federico Chiesa had only two goals in Serie A last season
Chiesa has been strongly linked with a move to the Premier League for a number of years.
He now appears to be edging closer to heading to England, with his future at Juventus in doubt.
Il Corriere dello Sport claim, via the Daily Mail, that he is open to the idea of joining a new club.
The news comes as a boost to Liverpool and United’s hopes of signing the 25-year-old as they are again linked with a move.
Chiesa is also said to be “unhappy” at Juventus as he does not feel at the “centre of the project”.
Reports in Italy have stated Liverpool lead the race for his signature alongside Newcastle United, with Bayern Munich also interested.
United and Liverpool were tipped to do battle for Chiesa back in January but no deal materialised.
The Italy international is now expected to be available for around £30million, two years after Liverpool failed with a £100million bid.
