Luke Littler visits cafe and ‘nobody recognises him’ – then has special breakfast dish named after him
LUKE LITTLER has seen a staple dish at a breakfast cafe renamed after him following a surprise visit.
Littler, made a shock visit to Truffles in Ironbridge, Shropshire, on Saturday morning before the Grand Slam of Darts semi-final and final in Wolverhampton.

And it seems his order of beans on toast with extra scrambled egg had the magic ingredient as he went on to thrash Jermaine Wattimena 16-2 in the Saturday quarter-final.
Littler then beat Gary Anderson 16-15 in his thrilling semi-final on Sunday, before demolishing Martin Lukeman 16-3 in the final to win his first darts major and pocket more than £150,000.
Owner Jenny Barratt told BBC Radio Shropshire how the teen went unrecognised at first before one of the kitchen staff recognised him.
She said: “Nobody recognised him until one of our staff members who works in the kitchen came out and said, ‘Luke Littler‘s just come in!’”
The 17-year-old is said to have walked into the cafe with “beefy” security guards, but described him as a “nice guy” who was “down to earth“.
When it was announced he was there, the cafe’s WhatsApp group burst into life.
However, Ms Barratt insisted on keeping the news off of Facebook to ensure Littler could eat in peace, though he did pose for some photos with staff members including Zoe and Dylan later on.
She added: “Some of our staff members were able to get a couple of photos.

“He wanted no trouble at all. We kept it off Facebook for a bit so he was able to just have his breakfast in peace.
“[We’re] quite honoured, really, because there’s a few cafes up and down here [and] they chose us.”
Ms Barratt admitted she was left a bit surprised Littler did not go for the full-breakfast option, but has revealed the beans on toast with scrambled egg dish will be renamed “The Luke Littler“.
Littler will next be in action in the Players Championship final, where he will first face off against World No.4 Rob Cross.
If Littler can win the whole competition then he will go above Voltage in the world rankings to No.4 in time for the World Championships at Ally Pally.
The Nuke will be out to rewrite the record after losing the World Championship in the final last year to World No.1 Luke Humphries.
Littler has earned a million in prize money from his first year of professional darts, nearly £600,000 is ranked on the Order of Merit which determines the world rankings.
