LUKE LITTLER landed a nine-darter hailed as the “greatest moment ever” in Premier League Darts as he downed Luke Humphries 11-7 in the final.

The Nuke, 17, left the world No1 speechless but congratulating him heartily over his 11th-leg magic in front of 20,000 fans at the O2 Arena.

The 17-year-old’s nine-throw perfection seemed to break Humphries as he took command of a high-class match.

The final so many people wanted and no-one was disappointed with was locked at 5-5 when Littler erupted with his burst of devastating brilliance.

He landed two 180s, then made his trademark switch downstairs for a treble 19 before a double 12 checkout to complete his show-stopping trick.

The Nuke’s World Championship final conqueror Humphries took it well – smiling broadly and hugging him.

And ex-Prem winner Glenn Durrant called it the “greatest moment ever witnessed” in the tournament.

Fans on social media were also raving.

One labelled Littler’s achievement “the art of perfection”.
