He beat Michael Smith 11-4 in the final

It is the second tournament the teenager has won this year

He cruised past home favourite Michael van Gerwen in the semi-final with an 11-4 victory, winning nine consecutive legs to book a place in the final.

And Smith also proved no match for The Nuke who was deadly with the trebles throughout the night in Amsterdam.

Littler lost the first two legs in the final before getting on the scoreboard with a 140 checkout.

That inspired the 17-year-old who played with pomp, and he raced into a 7-3 lead by the interval.

It looked like Smith would not win another leg but the former world champion managed a Big Fish checkout of 170 in the 14th leg to save himself.

However that ended up being nothing more than a consolation as Littler won the next leg to seal his victory.

“Waking up early, didn’t like that one. I managed to get over the line against Chris (Dobey). I relaxed tonight and I played very well.”

On the fans chanting his name, he added: “It tells me there’s only one Luke Littler!

“This time last year I was on the Development Tour. I won a few events and my name was getting mentioned. But at the Worlds, that’s when everyone knew who I was.
