Littler seemed to feel discomfort during the match, feeling his elbow.

And some believe he was the latest victim of the infamous Ally Pally wasp.

Despite the soreness, Littler made light work of Dolan, beating him 5-1 to reach the semi-finals.

After his win, he said: “Was I stung by a wasp? I don’t know.

“I saw it flying around. I had to focus and get over the line.”

Littler would be the latest in a long line of stars to be stung at Ally Pally.

Gary Anderson was stalked by a wasp back in 2018.

While another perched on David Cameron’s shoulder during a match last year.
