LUKE HUMPHRIES hit back at a troll who made a crude comment about his fiancee Kayley.

Cool Hand Luke made sure he wasn’t shaken up by what the hater had said online, delivering a hilarious comeback to shut down any abuse.

Humphries, 29, had taken to X to explain his shocking 6-3 loss to Mervyn King in the Players Championship earlier in the week.

He explained that a hectic schedule had left him “exhausted” for the clash which saw him put up an uncharacteristically bad average of 79.

He wrote: “Absolutely exhausted mate, it’s been almost two weeks of being away and playing consistently, and I got another eight days of it to come! Just one of those tired performances!”

A nice back and forth with a supportive fan was then spoiled by a fan who joked about Humphries’ fiancee while the thrower is away on tour.

They wrote: “I’ll stay at home with Kayley while you two are out ******* each other”.

The horrendous reply was swiftly dealt with by Humphries, who hit back: “If you could cut the grass, do the hoovering, and hang out the washing while you’re there I’d really appreciate it.”

The hilarious quip quickly shot down the troll and helped Humphries focus on his darts.

Humphries beat Richard Veenstra in his Swiss Darts Trophy opener on Saturday night and to set up a third round clash with Luke Littler.

Speaking ahead of the match, he said: “I’ve been struggling for something over the last couple of weeks, but that was a good performance tonight.

“I think me against Luke is the big game in darts at the moment. We both enjoy playing each other, so hopefully we can produce a classic and give the fans a great game.”

Humphries certainly didn’t disappoint, beating the teen sensation 6-3 and leading fans to think he was so dominant that Littler somewhat gave up.

The world champion now takes on Josh Rock this afternoon as he looks to progress even further.

Humphries will be back in World Grand Prix action on October 6 in Leicester. 

His sensational run of success all started at the Morningside Arena last year with a 5-2 win over Gerwyn Price in the final.

Since then he has won the Grand Slam, Players Championship, Worlds, German Grand Prix, World Cup, Matchplay and World Series in New Zealand.
