Leicester 1 Blackburn 2: Dolan and Szmodics stun Foxes as Rovers cling on to reach FA cup quarter-finals
BLACKBURN stunned Leicester to reach the FA Cup quarter-finals with a tense victory.
Tyrhys Dolan and Sammie Szmodics put the Championship promotion hopefuls 2-0 up but Kelechi Iheanacho’s 58th minute reply sparked pressure from the Prem hosts – thwarted by Rovers’ keeper Aynsley Pears.

Dolan punished the Foxes for trying to play out from the back by surging forward and curling a 20-yard, top-corner opener on 33 minutes.
And soon after the break Leicester again paid dearly for giving the ball away far too easily.
Fed near the penalty area D, Szmodics twisted and wriggled past defenders with skill, luck and perseverance before prodding the ball past home keeper Daniel Iversen.
But Iheanacho transformed the contest by drilling Leicester back into it.
Harvey Barnes danced past his man on the left to rake a cross that Iheanacho diverted in.
Rovers then survived rising pressure, Pears TWICE saving well amid a flurry of late chances.
